CORE 2 - Loop 303 to CAP Canal
("City Parcel")
On August 26, 2025, the City was the successful bidder at a State Land public auction for Core 2 and holds the Certificate of Purchase (CP).
At approximately 845 acres and anchored by Amkor Technologies, Core 2 is planned as a dynamic regional employment and mixed-use hub, integrating commercial industrial, and limited residential opportunities. It includes a Mixed-Use Village Center, public utilities, and significant open space, with residential uses restricted in certain areas to prioritize employment and commercial growth. The design supports economic development, regional job creation, and access to amenities along major transportation corridors.
As approved in the City's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), construction has begun for Core 2 infrastructure.
